We are looking for a volunteer to assist with maintaining the small garden areas at our Nambour Social Centre. The centre features raised garden beds that provide a pleasant environment for our clients to enjoy, and we're seeking someone who would like to help keep them looking their best.
This flexible volunteer role is ideal for someone who enjoys light gardening and would like to support a local community service.
Key Duties
- Watering plants and garden beds
- Light weeding and pruning
- Planting seasonal flowers, herbs, or vegetables
- General garden tidying
- Assisting with maintaining raised garden beds
- Helping create an attractive and enjoyable outdoor space for clients
Skills and Experience
- An interest in gardening
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- No formal gardening qualifications required
