About us:

Community Services #1 is a not-for-profit supporting people and families across the ACT and surrounding NSW. We deliver practical, person-centred services that strengthen community wellbeing and belonging.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist clients in selecting food items and completing pantry purchases in a respectful and supportive manner.

Receive, unpack, and organise incoming food deliveries.

Ensure correct storage of food items, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods.

Follow all food safety and hygiene practices, including safe handling, storage, and monitoring of food quality.

Work cooperatively with staff and other volunteers.
