Play Mahjong with a Lovely Older Lady in Heidelberg

We’re seeking a volunteer to make regular visits to a lovely lady living in aged care in Heidelberg.

She would love someone to play Mahjong with her (specifically King Rules) while having a friendly chat.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) helps to reduce social isolation by connecting older people with friendly volunteers.

Visits are flexible (typically 1 hour per week) and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months.

If you are friendly, reliable, can speak fluent English, and are up for the challenge of supporting a person experiencing the ups and downs that come with ageing, we'd love to hear from you (you'll have the chance to find out more, and opt-out if it's not the perfect role for you).

ACVVS is funded by the Australian Government and delivered by MS Plus. MS Plus is a childsafe organisation with a Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy.
