Crane restoration crew

You'll be joining a sub group of the crew to tackle the restoration of the crane. Initially its a static restoration but long term goal is to return it to working condition.

Knowledge in tools would be a great asset but our crew are happy to teach.

Benefits of volunteering with us is helping preserve one of the most historic ships preserved in Australia which also provides a training facility for many people.

The benefits for the volunteers are learning new skills, meeting new people, social events including dinners, movie nights, camping trips and museum visits.

The MV Cape Don society operates the MV Cape Don and looks after the volunteers. Everyone is a volunteer.
