Volunteer Events Coordinator

Keith's Closet is a registered mental health charity providing free clothing and support to people accessing mental health services across NSW. Through fundraising events, community initiatives and partnerships, we help restore dignity, confidence and hope to thousands of people every year.

We're looking for a passionate Volunteer Events Coordinator to help plan and deliver meaningful events that will engage the community and raise funds for our service.

You will help us to:

• Plan and coordinate fundraising and community events.

• Organise event timelines, logistics and suppliers.

• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events.

• Liaise with sponsors, community groups and supporters.

• Assist with event planning and budgeting.

• Work alongside our team to create memorable experiences and increase awareness and support for Keith's Closet.

Some of the events that we already organise:

• Community barbecues

• Corporate volunteering days

• Christmas Shoebox Appeal

• Mental Health Awareness events

• Community markets and outreach days

• Fundraisers such as a Return and Earn campaign and clothing donation bins.

About You-

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about helping others.

• Organised, reliable and proactive.

• A great communicator.

• Comfortable juggling multiple projects.

• Excited to be part of a growing charity.

• Experienced at organising events (although this is not essential!).
