Register / Point of Sale (POS) Volunteer
Make Every Sale Count
At Lifeline Gippsland, every item sold helps fund vital crisis support services, including the 13 11 14 crisis support line. As a Register / Point of Sale (POS) Volunteer, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience while helping raise funds that support people in need across our community.
You’ll be the friendly face at the counter, assisting customers, processing sales, and helping ensure our store operates smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently
- Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Welcoming and assisting customers with warmth and respect
- Thanking and acknowledging donors and shoppers
- Supporting general store operations when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming store and checkout area
- Representing Lifeline Gippsland in a professional and positive manner
