Lifeline Gippsland is seeking friendly volunteers to join our team at our Churchill Op Shop. Whether you enjoy helping customers on the register or prefer sorting and preparing donated goods behind the scenes, there's a place for you on our team.
Every hour you volunteer helps fund Lifeline's vital crisis support and suicide prevention services, including the 13 11 14 crisis support line. On average, every $39 raised helps answer a life-saving call from someone in need.
Volunteer Roles Available
Point of Sale (POS) Volunteer
Be the welcoming face of our Churchill store by:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Operating the point-of-sale system
- Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Supporting a positive shopping experience
- Helping maintain a clean and organised store
Sorting & Donations Volunteer
Support the shop behind the scenes by:
- Sorting donated clothing, books, and household items
- Preparing stock for display and sale
- Pricing and tagging items
- Restocking shelves and displays
- Assisting with maintaining a safe and organised workspace
