Lifeline Gippsland is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to join our team at our Morwell Op Shop. Whether you enjoy helping customers on the register, have a passion for toys and LEGO, or prefer sorting and preparing general donated goods behind the scenes, there's a place for you on our team.

Every hour you volunteer helps fund Lifeline's vital crisis support and suicide prevention services, including the 13 11 14 crisis support line. On average, every $39 raised helps answer a life-saving call from someone in need.

Volunteer Roles Available

Point of Sale (POS) Volunteer

Be the welcoming face of our Morwell store by:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Operating the point-of-sale system
• Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Supporting a positive shopping experience
• Helping maintain a clean and organised store

Sorting & Donations Volunteer

Support the shop behind the scenes by:

• Sorting donated clothing, books, and household items
• Preparing stock for display and sale
• Pricing and tagging items
• Restocking shelves and displays
• Assisting with maintaining a safe and organised workspace

Toys & LEGO Volunteer

Do you love toys, games, collectables, or LEGO? We'd love to hear from you.

Our Morwell Superstore has recently experienced a significant increase in toy and LEGO donations, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help sort, identify, organise, and prepare these items for sale.

In this role, you may:

• Sort and organise toy and LEGO donations
• Match LEGO sets and pieces where possible
• Identify collectable or specialty items
• Clean and prepare items for sale
• Help maximise the value of donations to support Lifeline's services

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your interests and hobbies with making a meaningful difference in your community.

• Enjoy retail, customer service, or hands-on tasks
