Volunteer Social Visitor – Connect with a Retired Civil Engineer in his own home

Join the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) and make a difference! We’re seeking a compassionate, friendly volunteers to visit elderly living at home in the Wagga region.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Chat & Coffee: Share a relaxed coffee and a friendly chat.
• Brainstorm & Discuss: Engage in stimulating conversations about politics, history, civil engineering, past projects, and innovative new ideas.
• Provide Companionship: Offer vital social connection to an intelligent gentleman who has minor mobility issues but remains sharp and forward-thinking.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Individuals with a keen, particular interest in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Politics are highly encouraged to apply.
• Mature individuals (Aged 50+ preferred, though all enthusiastic applicants are welcome).
• Friendly, reliable, and strong English communicators.
• No gender preference.
