CatholicCare Sydney is seeking a caring volunteer to provide companionship to an older gentleman living in a Residential Aged Care Home in 📍 Marsden Park.
Having recently relocated from Queensland, he is still settling into life in Sydney and would greatly value the friendship of a regular visitor.
🤝 A proud Vietnam Veteran and long-standing RSL member, he has spent much of his life serving his country and community. Now, a simple act of kindness can help him feel connected, valued and at home. ❤️

Just one to two hours a week can make a lasting difference to someone experiencing loneliness and social isolation. 🌱
Through regular visits, our volunteers build meaningful friendships that enrich the lives of both the volunteer and the older person. 😊☕
🌻We're looking for someone who is:
- 😊 Friendly, patient and reliable
- 👂 A good listener who enjoys spending time with older people
- 📍 Located in the Marsden Park area or surrounds, with reliable transport
- ⏰ Able to commit to 1–2 hours each week on an ongoing basis
✨ No previous experience is necessary! CatholicCare Sydney provides training, ongoing support and all required screening before you begin volunteering.
