About the opportunity
Primary Purpose of the Position
Paynesville Neighbourhood Centre (PNC) is a vibrant community hub that has supported the local community for more than 20 years through education, social connection, community development and childcare services. Following the development of a long-term childcare sustainability strategy, PNC is seeking an experienced Grant Researcher and Writer to help identify and secure funding opportunities that will support the future viability of its childcare service. Working in collaboration with PNC and Australian Business Volunteers (ABV), the successful volunteer will research suitable grant opportunities and prepare high-quality, submission-ready funding applications to help bring this important sustainability project to life.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in grant research, grant writing and funding applications.
- Ability to identify funding opportunities aligned with organisational priorities and project outcomes.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural and regional communities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with ABV and PNC staff to deliver submission-ready applications
