ITALIAN Volunteer Needed for Lady with Dementia

We are seeking a friendly, Italian-speaking volunteer to visit a Sicilian lady living in aged care in Templestowe.

ACVVS volunteers bring friendship to an older person experiencing social isolation - you will not be required to do anything more than be a friend (no cleaning, personal care, etc.)

Our recipient lives with dementia, so a very kind, patient volunteer is required.

Visits times are flexible (typically 1 hour per week) and we ask for a commitment of at least 6 months. Visits usually involve chatting over a coffee, going for a gentle walk, reading a book, etc.
