SCR Swim Meet Assistant- Timekeeper, Ribbon Presenter, Photographer

Masters Swimming Victoria

More than 400 swimmers from clubs around Victoria will compete at the MSV Short Course Relay Championships on Sunday 18 October. This is the biggest and most fun pool swimming meet on the MSV calendar.

If you believe that sport should be for everyone, regardless of age and ability, and want to be part of a fun and friendly fitness event, then MSV needs you!

MSV is a not-for-profit organisation, largely run by a small but hardworking team of volunteers.

The MSV Long Course Relay Championships is the fourth of four state pool events in the MSV calendar. There are many ways to help, including:

  • Timekeeping
  • Checking that swimmers are starting in the correct lane
  • Passing out refreshments
  • Handing out ribbons

No experience is necessary. Just a positive attitude and a desire to help facilitate a great day of racing.

Masters Swimming Victoria (MSV) is a member of Masters Swimming Australia (MSA), which is the peak body for adult swimming in Australia and affiliated with World Aquatics (previously known as FINA).

MSA's purpose is to provide an environment to develop and promote adult swimming in Australia for life.
