One Ride. One Patient. One Huge Difference - Volunteer Medical Transport Driver

Latrobe Community Health/Link Health and Community

Many older adults in our community face challenges accessing essential healthcare appointments. As a Volunteer Medical Transport Driver, you can make a meaningful difference by providing safe, reliable transport and a friendly presence during what can often be a stressful time.

What you'll do:

  • Drive older clients to GP, specialist, and hospital appointments
  • Offer companionship and friendly conversation during the journey
  • Ensure clients return home safely and comfortably

By volunteering in this role, you'll help older community members maintain their independence while staying connected to the healthcare services they need.

Latrobe Community Health Service (LCHS) is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of all children and young people accessing our services. Child Safety | Latrobe Community Health Service (lchs.com.au)
