Rethink Australia Foundation Ltd is a youth-led environmental organisation empowering students and schools to drive sustainability through education, technology and community action.
Our work brings together environmental education, student leadership, technology-enabled solutions and partnerships to create meaningful and measurable change. As Rethink Australia grows, we are seeking an experienced Corporate Partnerships Advisor to help strengthen our approach to engaging businesses and developing purposeful, long-term partnerships.
The volunteer will provide strategic guidance on how Rethink Australia identifies, approaches and builds relationships with prospective corporate partners, particularly organisations with priorities in sustainability, education, technology, community investment and youth leadership.
Key responsibilities
• Advise on Rethink Australia’s corporate partnership strategy and value proposition
• Help identify suitable partnership models and engagement pathways
• Provide guidance on approaching corporate social responsibility, sustainability, community investment and corporate affairs teams
• Review partnership proposals, presentations and stakeholder-facing materials
• Advise on how prospective partnerships can create meaningful value for Rethink Australia, participating organisations and the wider community
• Help develop a structured and professional approach to managing prospective and existing corporate relationships
• Provide strategic feedback on selected partnership opportunities and outreach approaches
About you
We are seeking a skilled professional with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Corporate partnerships
• Corporate social responsibility or community investment
• Sponsorship and strategic alliances
• ESG or sustainability
• Corporate affairs
• Business development
• Partnership management
• Philanthropy or corporate foundations
Experience developing or managing partnerships within corporations, foundations, professional services firms or other established institutions will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will understand how organisations assess partnership opportunities and will be able to help Rethink Australia develop credible, mutually beneficial and long-term corporate relationships.

The role is fully remote and designed to be flexible around professional commitments. An initial engagement of up to six months is anticipated, requiring approximately two to four hours per month.
