Samford Visitor Information Centre Ambassador Role

The Samford Visitor Centre ambassadors are our face of the region for visitors and we would love a few more to join our team. Currently we have a few gaps in our rosters and would like to invite interested volunteers to register their interest via our on line application process. The centre is open 7 days a week from 9am - 4pm and shifts are from 9am - 12.30pm or 12.30pm -4pm. Training is provided along with opportunities to attend workshops, online training sessions and famiiarisation tours to enhance your knowledge of the moreton bay region. A formal interview, orientation and induction process is undertaken before volunteers are rostered onto shifts with a buddy in the first instance. Ambassadors are provided with a uniform shirt and name badge.
The Samford visitor centre sees lots of visitors holidaying and looking for places to visit and stay as well as locals looking for activities for their family and friends. Local knowledge is needed or at least knowledge of where to find the information so use of google search is a must.
