Students - community services - The Habitat community plant nursery

We have been operating since November 2012. The Habitat is staffed and run by volunteers. Our volunteers help us to weed the nursery and garden, and help us connect a native habitat corridor from the nursery to the nearby bushland.

One of our aims is to educate the community in relation to the environment, conservation, native habitat corridors / networks, sustainable / healthy living, sustainable gardening and related activities.

You can find us at Santa Rosa Park, 251 Quarry Road, Ryde - next to the car park. Please wear a hat, sunscreen, long sleeve shirt and appropriate closed footwear. We provide gloves and all tools.

When you respond we will confirm via email the time slot that is available, we can be a little flexible with this.
