looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to help build our social media presence and help encourage people of all ages to join our friendly and competitive junior and Senior rugby club.

We are a well established club that has celebrated its 60th anniversary since it was founded.

By promoting the club with social media posts on its events and happenings you will bringing more of the community to something on their doorstep

Committee members and ensures that the club communicates effectively with all stakeholders, raises vital funds, and maintains a strong and positive public profile whilst attracting new and existing player engagement to all platforms.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

● Coordinate all social media activities for the club.

● Produce club publications like weekly fixtures posts, photos and videos, newsletters and flyers, following Executive Committee directives.

● Prepare and maintain content for the club website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Spond) in line with the club’s branding.

● Develop engaging social media and marketing campaigns to promote home games, memberships and sponsors.

● Avoid using collaboration media, watermarks or photos leading to conflicts of interest or generating monetisation for third parties on club social media platforms.

● Maintain relationships with social media contacts, Rugby Victoria and relevant suppliers.

● Collaborate with the Sponsorship Coordinator and Club Photographers to ensure sponsor visibility across the website, social media, newsletters and clubrooms.

Skills and Attributes:

● Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.

● Experience in event management, promotions or PR is highly desirable.

● Highly motivated, organised and proactive.
