🎣 Reel in a Rewarding Volunteering Opportunity!

Do you enjoy great conversations and sharing stories about the outdoors? We are looking for a friendly Social Volunteer to spend one hour each week visiting a gentleman who would love some companionship and connection.

This gentleman enjoys all things fishing, camping, and nature, and has a particular interest in trains. Whether you're swapping fishing tales, chatting about camping adventures, discussing train journeys, or simply enjoying a good conversation, your weekly visits can make a meaningful difference.

As a Social Volunteer, you'll help build a genuine friendship while providing companionship and something positive to look forward to each week.

If you're ready to help someone stay connected and make a real difference, hop aboard and apply today. This could be the start of a truly rewarding journey for both of you! 🚂💙

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
