🧩 Help Put the Pieces Together!

Do you enjoy friendly conversation and making meaningful connections? We are looking for a caring Social Volunteer to visit a lovely lady for one hour each week.

This lady enjoys keeping her mind active with crossword puzzles, reading books on her tablet, listening to music, and participating in carpet bowls. She would love the companionship of someone who enjoys a chat, sharing interests, and spending quality time together.

Whether you're discussing a great book, tackling a crossword clue, chatting about favourite songs, or simply enjoying good company, your weekly visits can bring friendship, connection, and joy to her life.

As a Social Volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to brighten someone's week while building a genuine and rewarding friendship.

If you love helping others stay connected and believe the best clues in life are friendship and kindness, apply today and become the missing piece to someone's week! 💙📚🎶

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
