About the Role

You’ll be assisting our lead volunteer with the hands‑on and digital tasks involved in getting the auction ready. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys art, photography, or online content creation.

Key Tasks May Include:

Sort & Organise Artwork
*Help catalogue incoming donated pieces so they’re ready for photography and listing.

Photography
*Take clear, high‑quality digital photos of each artwork (smart phone is fine).

Online Listings
*Upload photos, descriptions, artist details, and dimensions to our auction platform.

Social Media Support
*Create simple, engaging posts to help promote the auction to our community.

Artist Liaison *Assist with thanking artists, confirming donation details, and gathering background stories about the pieces.

Who We’re Looking For: Because this role involves local artists, we’re ideally seeking someone local to the Heidelberg area (or nearby suburbs) for practical reasons. You don’t need professional experience—just reliability, a positive attitude, and an interest in helping a community‑focused project.

Why Volunteer With Us?

Your contribution directly supports North East Citizen Advocacy’s mission. Every dollar raised from this auction helps us continue providing free, independent advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities in our local community.
