Men's Group Volunteer Assistant Maroubra

Looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity in your local area?

JNC is looking for sociable volunteers to help out on our weekly men's group bus outings from our Maroubra centre.

As a bus outing and men's group volunteer, you meet the bus at the centre in the morning, go out with our driver to help collect the clients and then all head off together for a fun day out or to our centre in Glebe for an activity.

**The outings are from 9-1pm, starting and returning to our centre in Maroubra and we are looking for volunteers who would like to do back up volunteering when regular volunteers are away. More ongoing roles may become available.

This role has worked well for: students with a regular day off who want to spend time with seniors; retirees keen to do something meaningful with their spare time; people who are keen to experience professional work in Aged services through volunteering; part time workers with a regular day off and international students looking to broaden their cultural experience by spending time with older Australians. Good conversational English is a requirement as our clients are older and need to socialise.
