Male Companion Aged Care Volunteer

At Nazareth Care volunteers are an integral part of the community and give their time to enrich the lives of residents through companionship, lifestyle and well-being activities and pastoral care. We value each volunteer’s unique strengths and passions, and we tailor roles to ensure they make a meaningful and rewarding contribution. Volunteering with us is about connection, compassion, and making a real difference. Nazareth Care Wynnum is looking for male volunteers to spend time with our elderly male residents through companionship and friendly room visits.

Many of our residents enjoy chatting about life, sport, hobbies, travel, family, the news or simply sharing a laugh over a cup of tea. Your regular visits can help reduce loneliness, build meaningful friendships, and make a genuine difference to someone's wellbeing.
We’re looking for people who are:
• Kind and respectful.

• Happy to pitch in and work with our wellbeing and lifestyle team.
