Do you speak Macedonian? Brighten an Older Person's Day

We are looking for a warm and friendly Macedonian-speaking volunteer to visit an older person and provide companionship through meaningful social connection at a facility in Padstow Heights.

Visits may include enjoying conversations in Macedonian, reminiscing about life experiences, spending time outdoors in the sunshine or shade, and enjoying gentle walks or other activities based on their interests and preferences.

This is a wonderful opportunity to brighten someone’s day, celebrate their language and culture, and build a genuine connection through conversation, kindness, and companionship.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) supports older people to reduce social isolation and develop meaningful friendships through regular visits.
