The Role: genU’s Retirement Village offers quality homes in a secure, vibrant community designed for independent living and relaxation. Our senior residents can stay socially active with a diverse range of engaging programs like movie clubs, mahjong, tai chi and line dancing classes. They can benefit from health and wellness initiatives and services, including access to a dietician, fitness classes, and a hairdresser onsite. Conveniently located in Marshall, residents can enjoy close proximity to renowned beachfronts, shopping centres, esteemed golf clubs, and direct access to public transport, including the Marshall Train Station. Our Volunteer Administrative Assistant provides high level, confidential administrative support to the Retirement Village team. We are seeking a friendly and reliable volunteer to assist staff with generalised administration tasks such as data entry, document scanning and reception support. This is a valuable customer service and client facing role working in a small team environment on site with in-direct support available. This volunteer position requires a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity regarding all matters. Previous administration experience preferred with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.

About You:
- Lives in and around Marshall or is happy to travel.
- Possess clear communication skills.
- Previous administration experience
- Sound Microsoft Office knowledge
- Passionate about giving back to your community.
- Conducts yourself with open-mindedness and respect, ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of our clients is always maintained.
- Comfortable using technology to provide feedback and connect with the Volunteer Program.
- Availability for a flexible six-month commitment.
Time Commitment: Role availability is on Monday or Friday between 9:00 – 4:00pm. You may donate a minimum of two hours per week or fortnight. At genU, we’re all about flexibility. Let’s chat and find out the hours which suit you best!
