A Shared Connection & Good Company: Volunteer with Willy!
We are looking for a male companion (an older male is preferred) to brighten the days of a wonderful gentleman named Willy and connect with him through shared understanding. If you have some knowledge of, or a connection to, First Nations people and culture, you could be the perfect match to walk alongside him.
Willy's ideal companion is someone who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Together, you might spend time listening to music, having a great chat, going for walks out in the fresh air, or heading out for some shopping.
As an Aged Care Volunteer, your role is simple: just spend time together. Dedicating just one hour each week or fortnight is all it takes to build trust, create a difference, and make lasting memories.
Many of our volunteers join wanting to give back, only to discover they receive just as much joy, warmth, and friendship in return.
