As a Volunteer Pet Visitor, you and your furry (or feathered!) companion can bring comfort, companionship, and plenty of smiles to HammondCare residents. 😊

🐾 Spend time chatting with residents
🐾 Share cuddles, pats, and happy moments
🐾 Help spark treasured memories of beloved pets
🐾 Brighten someone's day through the special connection that animals provide

Visits are relaxed, rewarding, and flexible. You may enjoy one-on-one visits with residents or join small group activities where your pet can be the star of the show! ⭐

Whether you have a gentle dog, calm cat, or another suitable companion animal, your visits can make a meaningful difference to residents' wellbeing and quality of life. 💕 No special skills are required, just a caring nature and a pet that enjoys being around people.

🕒 When: Weekly for 1 hour
📅 Days: Monday or Tuesday afternoons from 2:30pm
🏡 Location: HammondCare
💜 Weekend opportunities may also be available for volunteers with experience in dementia care.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
