A Little Time, A Big Difference – Aged Care Volunteer Needed!

We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable volunteer to provide companionship and meaningful social connection to an older person.

This is a simple but rewarding role. You might spend time sitting together in the garden, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee, chatting about life, sharing stories and reminiscing. The most important thing is being present, listening and enjoying good conversation.

No previous experience is needed. We are looking for someone with a warm heart, patience, reliability and a genuine interest in connecting with an older person.

If you have around one hour to spare each week or fortnight, this could be a wonderful opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life while building a meaningful connection.

All volunteers are required to undergo a National Police Check and will receive ongoing support and training from their ACVVS Program Coordinator.
