Share Time, Stories & Good Conversation– Aged Care Volunteer Needed!

We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable volunteer to provide companionship and social connection for Fletcher.

The visits could include having a coffee and a chat, talking about fishing, sharing stories and having relaxed conversations about everyday life.

Someone with an interest in Christian faith or Bible studies would be particularly welcome, as these are interests that could provide opportunities for meaningful conversation. An interest in the environment would also be appreciated.

The role is about building a genuine friendship through regular visits, conversation and shared interests. No previous volunteering experience is required. We are looking for someone who is patient, respectful, reliable and genuinely enjoys spending time with others.

If you have around one hour to spare each week or fortnight and would like to make a meaningful difference through companionship, we would love to hear from you.

All volunteers are required to undergo a National Police Check and will receive ongoing support and training from their ACVVS Program Coordinator.
