We are a dedicated not-for-profit children's therapy centre based in Armadale. We provide essential services to local children in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our outdoor areas provide a calm space for children and their families during their visits.
Position Purpose
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Volunteer Gardener to help us keep our outdoor spaces safe, tidy, and beautiful for the children. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a green thumb, and want to make a meaningful difference in your local community, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Lawn Care: Mowing and edging small to medium lawn areas.
- Garden Maintenance: Weeding garden beds and raking up fallen leaves or debris.
- Plant Care: Pruning shrubs, trimming bushes, and general tidying of plants.
- Safety: Keeping pathways clear of overgrowth or hazards to ensure a safe environment for young children.
Skills and Experience Required
- Basic knowledge of gardening, plant care, or lawn maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate basic garden tools (e.g., lawnmower, shears, rake).
- Reliable, self-motivated, and respectful of a professional therapy environment.
