Objective & Scope
To serve as the tone-of-voice custodian for OFA, generating highly engaging, accurate, and culturally competent written content across all outward-facing publications.
What you'll do
- Core Monthly Deliverables (80%)
- Newsletter Copy: Drafting and structural editing for 2 community newsletters per month.
- Social Media Captions: Drafting 8 compelling text captions with corresponding hashtags per month.
- Event Promotion Kit: Copy drafting for 1 event invitation template, 1 follow-up email, and web registration copy.
- The Creative Autonomy Space (20%)
- Opportunity to pitch and own a distinct editorial voice asset.
- Choose and pitch one portfolio-building project in Month 2 to execute by Month 5.
- Projects will be assessed and approved before you begin work.
- General volunteer expectations
- Undertake an OFA volunteer induction and role onboarding.
- Understand and implement OFA’s strategy, vision and mission.
- Uphold our volunteer code of conduct.
