History, Books & Museum Outings: Connect with Richard!
We are looking for a male companion (preferably aged 50 or over) to brighten the days of a friendly gentleman named Richard. If you share a passion for history, love a good book, or simply enjoy a meaningful conversation about the world, you might be the perfect match!
Richard is a very chatty, welcoming person who enjoys learning about different cultures and sharing perspectives. He loves reading, diving into history, and staying active with exercise. He is looking for a volunteer from a similar era to connect over shared interests and head out into the community together.
As an Aged Care Volunteer, your role is simple: just share a connection. Together, your time might include drives to the local library, museums, or cafes, or staying inside his Villa to play board games and enjoy a great chat. Dedicating just one hour each week or fortnight is all it takes to build trust, create a difference, and make lasting memories.
Many of our volunteers join wanting to give back, only to discover they receive just as much joy, warmth, and friendship in return.
