Shopping, Outings & Cultural Connection:
We are looking for a friendly female companion to brighten the days of a wonderful lady named Nancy, originally from the Milingimbi Community. If you love a chat, enjoy popping out to the shops, and can offer a warm, welcoming presence, you might be the perfect match to help expand her world!
Nancy would love to get out of the house sometimes to enjoy the simple pleasure of heading out for some shopping and exploring the local community. To ensure she feels completely comfortable and culturally supported, there is a strong preference for a female volunteer, ideally of Indigenous decent if possible, who can connect with her through shared understanding and companionship.
As an Aged Care Volunteer, your role is simple: just spend time together. Dedicating just one hour each week or fortnight is all it takes to build trust, create a difference, and make lasting memories.
Many of our volunteers join wanting to give back, only to discover they receive just as much joy, warmth, and friendship in return.
