About the opportunity
Primary Purpose of the Position
Help shape the future of health and wellbeing in one of Australia's most resilient communities. Mallacoota Community Health Infrastructure and Resilience Fund (CHIRF) is a community-led not-for-profit that has played a vital role in maintaining and expanding essential health services for the remote East Gippsland community. Following the successful securing of a $2 million infrastructure grant for a new Wellbeing Centre, CHIRF is now seeking an experienced Fundraising Strategy & Campaign Advisor to help develop and guide a targeted fundraising campaign to secure the additional funding required to complete the project, including the Aqua Therapy Pool and other critical facility infrastructure. Working alongside community leaders and ABV, you will design a practical, high-impact fundraising strategy that engages individual donors, philanthropists, businesses and sponsors, ensuring this transformative community asset can deliver lasting health, wellbeing and resilience benefits for generations to come.
Selection Criteria:
Essential
- Demonstrated expertise in fundraising strategy and campaign planning
- Experience in community fundraising and NFP giving programs
- Proven track record in designing and advising successful donation campaigns
- Understanding of philanthropic and sponsorship engagement approaches
- Ability to produce clear donation pathways and compelling campaign narratives
- Ability to develop practical, high-impact recommendations suited to community organisations with limited resources and volunteer capacity.
Desirable
- Experience in rural/remote community fundraising
- Understanding of health/wellbeing and ageing support services
