Position Overview This Online Volunteering Program is designed specifically to support individuals who face challenges in securing employment opportunities due to personal circumstances such as disability, family commitments, lack of work experience in Australia, etc. It offers the chance to gain valuable experience remotely to advance skills, build professional references, and improve future employment prospects. This is a fully remote volunteering position that offers hands-on experience in various tasks, including research, basic budgets, writing reports and preparing submissions.
About us Professional Services Collective Co-op Ltd (PSC) is dedicated to providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, refugees, migrants, the unemployed, youth at risk of long-term unemployment, and anyone facing substantial barriers to work. PSC partners with non-profit organisations and charities, enabling participants to gain valuable workplace skills and professional references, expand your professional network and open pathways for your future employment while contributing to the community.
Details and Responsibilities
- Participate in professional and collaborative activities - undertake tasks such as online research, basic budgets, writing reports and submissions.
- Take part in virtual team meetings - attend team meetings, one-on-one meetings, collaborate in work groups to coordinate project progress.
- Work with experienced supervisors - receive guidance from PSC supervisors, additionally supervisors from non-profit organizations in which PSC partners with.

Time commitments
- Attend free online training sessions.
- Weekly meetings with your Project Manager and team at mutually agreeable time slots.
- We ask for a minimum average weekly commitment of 15 or more hours per week. Aside from a small number of scheduled online meetings, you are free to arrange your remaining hours in a way that best fits your family, study or work commitments.
