Garden of Wellness Warwick Inc. is looking for reliable volunteer to help keep our community garden healthy and thriving by watering the garden regularly.

This is a simple, practical role that would suit someone who enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and contributing to a community project.

You would generally visit the garden esecond day, with watering taking up to approximately one hour, depending on weather conditions and what needs watering.

Water garden beds, plants and other areas as needed.

Check plants for signs of wilting, dryness or other obvious problems.

Make sure plants are receiving adequate water, particularly during hot or dry weaWhat we’re looking for

What we are looking for.

You don't need to be an experienced gardener. We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and able to visit approximately every second day.

Comfortable spending time outdoors.

Happy to do light gardening tasks.

Able to work independently once shown what needs to be done.

Observant and willing to report any issues they notice.

Interested in supporting a local community initiative.

What we provide

An induction and guidance on what needs watering.

Access to the garden's watering equipment.

A flexible and straightforward volunteer role.

The opportunity to contribute directly to the development and care of a local community garden.

Time commitment

Approximately one hour every second day, with some flexibility around the timing of visits. Watering requirements may vary with rainfall, temperature and season, so the role may require less frequent visits when conditions are wet.
