Why Shine the Light Counselling ?
Shine The Light Missing Persons Australia Inc is a registered Not-for-profit Charity with the ACNC
We are a National Missing Persons Organisation supporting those impacted by having a loved one go Missing
Having someone you love go missing is an extraordinarily difficult
and often poorly understood experience.
This is an opportunity to use your professional expertise to help shape and support a specialist service for families and loved ones affected by a missing person.
You’ll be joining a service with a strong foundation already underway, while having a genuine opportunity to influence how the clinical aspects of the service develop.
We’re open to new ideas and different perspectives. We want experienced clinical practitioners around the service who can challenge our thinking where appropriate and help us develop a service that is safe, ethical, clinically sound and sustainable.

We’d love to hear about your professional background, registration or professional membership, relevant experience, and how you might like to contribute.
We’re open to different models and levels of involvement and would be happy to discuss an arrangement that works with your expertise, interests and availability.
