ABOUT LIFESTYLE MARKETS AUSTRALIA INC

Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc. (LMA) is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation that brings communities together through family focused fundraisers, markets and events across Victoria. All proceeds support Kinds of Happiness (KOH), a charity dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia through mentoring, farming programs, and skills development. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. By joining the LMA team, you become part of a passionate, inclusive community making a real difference.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Event Organisation Assistance (EOA) Team Leader leads and supports a team of volunteers responsible for organising and coordinating LMA's calendar of events, working closely with LMA's Admin Team, who provide administrative support. This role ensures the EOA team operates smoothly, that volunteers are well supported in their roles, and that event planning tasks are completed to a high standard. As LMA continues to grow, this role also plays a part in establishing and refining the internal processes and training pathways that allow other volunteers to develop further within the organisation. In keeping with LMA's role as a genuine training ground for its volunteers, the EOA Team Leader helps create an environment in which team members can build real, transferable skills in events coordination and leadership.
