ARVS is running a new volunteer program in partnership with Give Write for people with lived experience of disability. A safe, inclusive and supportive space to connect, build confidence and make a positive difference.
The Good Sorts Project is a welcoming group where you can sort and re-package donated stationary to create pencil cases and school packs for students who need them most. We would love you to get involved!
Give Write is seeking volunteers to help sort, test, and repackage donated stationery, ensuring it’s ready to be distributed to Albany students in need.
What you will do: •Sort through donated stationery items •Test items for quality •Repackage into student-ready kits •Help reduce landfill and support local students
Who We’re Looking For: •Reliable and detail-oriented individuals •Comfortable working with your hands •No prior experience needed — just a willingness to help
