The Role: In this volunteer role, you’ll be paired with a senior to provide regular social support visits in their home. Activities are guided by shared interests and may include conversation, listening to music, playing board games or simply enjoying a relaxed chat. Visits are approximately 2 hours and focused on building trust, confidence and companionship.

Our Client: You’ll be supporting a woman in her late 70s who has a strong Christian faith and attends church regularly. She enjoys listening to audio books, classic music from the 1950s and 1960s, and television programs. She has a lifelong appreciation for beautiful gardens, fashion, shoes and accessories, and has a keen interest in cars, including classic and sports vehicles. In the past, she enjoyed painting and sketching. Family is very important to her and remains a significant part of her life. Due to low vision, she uses a sight cane to support her mobility.
