Purpose of the role

Support the HR team with recruitment administration while leading one or more HR improvement projects over approximately six months.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to one or two HR improvement projects based on your interests and organisational priorities.
  • Assist with recruitment administration and volunteer onboarding.
  • Maintain HR documentation and resources.
  • Collaborate with organisational leaders and other volunteers to implement HR initiatives.

Current Strategic HR projects

Project 1 – Volunteer Onboarding

Design and implement resources to improve the volunteer onboarding experience.

Expected outcome:

  • Volunteer onboarding leaflet
  • Supporting onboarding resources

Project 2 – Volunteer Engagement and Recognition

Design and implement initiatives that strengthen volunteer engagement and recognise volunteer contributions.

Expected outcome:

  • Sustainable recognition initiatives
  • Internal communication plan or channels

Time commitment

  • Approximately 3 hours per week
