Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival Event Volunteers

MARI is currently seeking enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers and groups to support event operations for the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival. 

The festival moves to a 2-day event in 2026, with race distances being split across the weekend. 

Saturday 10th October events:  Sri Lankan Airlines 10km | Dairy Farmers 5km | Chobani 3km | Bupa Healthy City Mini Marathon 1km

Sunday 11th October: Nike Melbourne Marathon 42.2km | Nike Half Marathon 21.1km 

Volunteer Roles across both days include:

Course Marshals

Drink Stations

Walm Clothing/Bag Drop

Medal Distribution 

Finish Line Support

Start Line Support 

Race Week Office 

volunteers will receive an event shirt, event cap and snacks throughout the day.

Volunteering also qualifies the individual for entry into the 2027 event, with a guaranteed entry for 2027.

Please note, on day volunteer check in, is location dependent. please check role location and specific check in location prior to the start of you shift.
