We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to assist with gardening and maintenance at Wolston Farmhouse.

What’s involved?

• Planting & Propagation: Plant new flowers, trees, shrubs, or vegetables, and assist with potting cuttings or seeds.

• General Maintenance: Perform routine tasks like weeding garden beds, light pruning, raking leaves, and mulching. Fence and grounds repair and maintenance.

• Watering & Care: Water plants by hand or set up basic irrigation, and help monitor plant health.

• Site Upkeep: Keep pathways clean, clear away garden waste, and help maintain tool and storage areas.

Requirements

• Must have a Blue Card

• A friendly and outgoing attitude.

• Be able to work as part of a team

• Be interested in and willing to learn about Queensland History.

• Be physically able to work outdoors in the Museum gardens.
