We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to assist with school visits to Wolston Farmhouse.

What’s involved?

• Offer an inviting welcome to visitors to historic Wolston Farmhouse.

• Engage and lead small groups of students through education activities respond to questions that are raised.

• Be comfortable speaking to small groups of students.

• Use your history knowledge to provide information and facts on Wolston Farmhouse.

Requirements

• Must have a Blue Card or QTC Registration Number.

• Previous experience in either a day-care, OSHC or school setting.

• A friendly and outgoing attitude.

• Confidence to lead small groups of students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities through the property.

• Good verbal communication skills to deal politely and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Be interested in and willing to learn about Queensland History.

• Be physically able to lead visitors through the Museum.
