Help create a fun and welcoming community event for families!
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our annual Family Fun Day, supporting families, children and young people to connect with each other and local community services.
About the Event
The Family Fun Day is open to children, young people and families from the local community. Community organisations will also have the opportunity to host information stalls and promote their services.
Volunteers will be supported and supervised throughout the day by Wesley Mission staff and Team Leaders.
Date: Saturday 10th November
Time: 10:00am – 2:30pm
Location: Quakers Hill NSW
Volunteer Duties
- Assist Wesley Mission staff with event set-up
- Engage with children, young people and families
- Assist with pack down and site clean-up
Requirements
✅ Friendly and positive attitude
✅ Ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
✅ Enjoy engaging with children, young people and families
✅ Reliable and punctual
✅ Ability to follow staff directions and adhere to Wesley's child-safe practices
✅ Comfortable assisting with event activities and light physical tasks
✅ Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one (free for volunteers)
