Assistant Producer

• Creation of the plan for a weekly radio show. The plan includes show segment and content creators, and key production dates.
• Prepare script templates for hosts or co-hosts to introduce the show, provide transitions between segments, and close the show.
• Follow-up with show segment leads to make sure they are aware of key dates and have submitted their recordings to the share folder for editing.
• Conduct a high-level quality review of submitted show segments and identify any problems (recording quality, length, etc.), and follow up with segment leads to address/fix problems.
• Liaise with editors to ensure they have the necessary material by critical dates.
• Create summaries of the show plan for presentation at the weekly team meeting.

• Comfortable using Google Drive, Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
• Good communications skills
