We’re looking for an enthusiastic Leisure Buddy Volunteer to support people to get out, try new activities, build confidence and enjoy the things they love.
We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys:
- gardening
- Going for walks in nature
- Enjoys fishing
- Doing word search puzzles
- Going to the movies
- Exploring and trying new things like the zoo !!
You don’t need to have professional experience — we are looking for people who are:
- Kind, patient and approachable
- Reliable and respectful
- Good communicators
- Comfortable supporting people with intellectual and or cognitive disabilities
- Positive and encouraging
- Passionate about inclusion and community participation
A genuine interest in helping people have fun, feel included and achieve their goals is what matters most.
