Global Women Peace Foundation Ltd (GWPF) is seeking a values-driven, experienced and committed professional to join our Board as a Volunteer Non-Executive Director.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Non-Executive Director, you will contribute to GWPF's governance, strategic direction, accountability, risk oversight and long-term sustainability.
We are seeking someone who genuinely aligns with our vision, mission and charitable purpose, while bringing independent judgement, constructive thinking and a commitment to advancing the Foundation's best interests.
EXPERIENCE WE VALUE
We welcome professionals with experience in one or more of the following:
Board Governance | Strategy | Finance & Accounting | Legal & Risk | Fundraising & Grants | Strategic Partnerships | Corporate Leadership | Community & Not-for-Profit Leadership | Marketing & Communications
Previous Board experience is highly regarded but not essential for suitably experienced candidates with strong governance awareness.

COMMITMENT
This is a voluntary, unpaid Non-Executive Director position, requiring up to approximately 4–6 hours per month, depending on the Foundation's activities and priorities.
Directors are expected to attend up to three Board meetings per year, including the AGM, and contribute to agreed strategic initiatives, key events and governance activities where appropriate.
Appointment is subject to GWPF's governance, eligibility and formal director appointment requirements.
