- Listen with empathy and provide practical support
- Assist with emergency relief such as food, clothing, and help with essential bills
- Connect people with services and resources that can help them move forward
- Participate in regular team meetings and work alongside like-minded volunteers
What's involved?
- A commitment of approximately 2–3 hours per week
- Flexible volunteering that fits around your lifestyle
- Full training, guidance, and ongoing support provided
- No previous experience required, just compassion and a willingness to help
Why volunteer with Vinnies?
- Make a meaningful difference to people in your local community
- Build lasting friendships and become part of a supportive team
- Develop valuable communication and community engagement skills
- Experience the reward of helping others when they need it most
