Become a Volunteer Mentor with Y Connect
Are you passionate about supporting women and gender diverse people living with disability to achieve their employment and career goals?
We are seeking volunteer mentors who can share their knowledge, experience, and networks to help participants build confidence, connections, and pathways to employment.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with lived experience of disability.
Lived experience of disability refers to the personal knowledge and understanding gained through living with a disability, or through being a family member, carer, or close supporter of a person with disability.
We also welcome applications from people who have a strong interest in disability inclusion or experience working alongside people with disability.
Are you:

Interested in supporting a woman or gender diverse person living with disability to realise their employment and career aspirations?

Able to commit a minimum of two hours per month to a mentoring relationship?

A woman or gender diverse person with professional, personal, or community experience and networks to share?

Someone with lived experience of disability, or experience or interest in supporting people with disability?
